Meet our Management Team

Heather had always wanted to work with animals since she was a child. After high school, she went to Hallmark Institute of Photography to study animal & wildlife photography. After spending some time in the field, she opted for a change yet still wanted to remain in the animal industry. Heather joined Kennedy Road Veterinary Clinic in March 1995. Heather has worked in almost every area of the hospital and has served as a hospital administrator for over 28 years. In July 2011, New England Veterinary Center opened its doors, moving the general practice from Kennedy Rd Vet and starting the emergency & specialty hospital. Heather enthusiastically made the transition and continued her role as Hospital Administrator.

Over the years, Heather has been active in the veterinary field outside of the hospital- she was one of the founding members of the Veterinary Healthcare Team of CT. She served as President for 3 years and Treasurer for 3 years. She was also involved in the CT SART (State Animal Response Team).

Heather shares her home with her high school sweetheart Ron, and their 2 kids- Tristan & Kylie. In addition, their four-legged family consists of two Akitas- Shio & Hoshi and her daughter's horse Pablo. In her free time, Heather enjoys cheering on her daughter at collegiate & area horse shows, photography, trivia nights, and spending time with her family.
